Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to upkeep production and warehousing equipment in a safe environment. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting advanced automation, and installing new equipment to keep operations efficient.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting skills, and are proficient in blueprint reading.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues on mechanical devices to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Adjust parts and control instruments to meet dimensional requirements.
  • Manage downtime by coordinating with all departments.
  • Train other employees and new hires as needed.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures.

About The Opportunity

Maintain the facility and equipment to accommodate production and warehousing in a safe working atmosphere. Act as front-line leaders for technical knowledge on highly complex automation or equipment problems. Maintain and repair machinery and equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of new equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements of all equipment.
  • Troubleshoot any issues of mechanical devices, correct issues to maintain productivity/quality standards.
  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Control downtime by communicating with all departments.
  • Train other employees and new hires as needed.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in safety and communications meetings as scheduled.
  • Complete all safety and company compliance training on time and according to schedule.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories, conserve resources when able.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, document, and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs through the use of EAM.
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Nights 3/2/2 5PM - 5AM
