Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain our production and warehousing facilities, performing preventive maintenance on automation and equipment and troubleshooting issues to ensure safety, quality and continuous production. You will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and stakeholders to implement improvements and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blue prints.
• Knowledge of lockout tag out and safety when working on plant equipment.
• Ability to read drawings and procedures related to maintaining equipment and building operations.
• Proficient in using technical equipment and tools for troubleshooting plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and equipment for production/warehousing in a safe environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on automation and equipment and troubleshoot issues affecting safety, quality or production.
• Coordinate with maintenance manager and stakeholders on safety, quality and production activities.
• Develop and execute site preventive maintenance program and manage spare parts inventory.
• Support capital projects, define scope, budget, schedule and responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with EAM platform and safety regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and staff development for salaried and hourly teams.

About The Opportunity

This position is responsible for maintenance of the facility and equipment to accommodate production/warehousing in a safe working atmosphere. This position will follow through with all Preventive Maintenance on automation and equipment, as well as troubleshoot and solve most automation or equipment problems that may affect safety, quality or production. He/she will work with outside contractors, vendors for maintaining equipment and needed inventories, and will continuously work to improve themselves, who will be working toward a two-year degree in industrial maintenance. This position will communicate with the Maintenance Manager and responsible personnel on any and all activities that affect Safety, Quality or Production.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

• Supportsfacility maintenance to assure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the operational facility and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets
• Troubleshootsand repairsoperating equipment
• Supportsoperations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
• Supports and executescapital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities
• Assurescompliance with Company's EAM platform
• Supportskey stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes
• Develops and execute site's preventative maintenance program
• Manages maintenance parts inventory including procurement
• Assuresall tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements
• Interactswith key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve equipment reliability issues
• Providesguidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and/or hourly team, working closely with direct reports
• Maintainsindustry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blue prints
• Knowledge of lockout tag out, all safety related issues while working on or around plant/production equipment
• Knowledge of communicative properties in all areas of plant operations
• Knowledge of formula's, theories and measurements
• Knowledge of ANSI and QS9000 regulations
• Able to use technical equipment and tools to trouble shoot many problems associated with plant equipment
• Computer literate
• Skills in work priorities
• Some understanding of drawings and or procedures that have to do with maintaining equipment/ building side of plant operations
• Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English
