Job summary

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our facilities in New York. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic remodeling tasks across our site, keeping offices and common areas in safe, functional condition.

This full-time role requires a valid NYS driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and 1–3 years of technician experience. On-call rotations and snow/ice removal are part of the schedule, with opportunities for

Qualifications

Valid NYS Driver’s License.
High School diploma or GED.
Competency in basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
One to three years of experience as a technician is preferred.
Knowledge of building maintenance or construction, including painting or patching, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform plumbing, electrical repairs, basic woodworking, installations and repairs for small appliances.
Remodeling projects including sheet rocking, framing, floor tile installations, painting, etc.
Landscape functions including mowing, tree pruning, planting, snow and ice removal.
Rotate on-call responsibilities; on-call is required on a rotating basis for evening and weekend coverage.
