Job summary

Cortland is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Springs at Peachtree Corners. You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems, while supporting preventative maintenance and asset preservation.

Youll interact with residents and team members professionally, respond to emergencies, and document work while reporting safety concerns to your supervisor. EPA certs and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required (Type I, II, or Universal).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and resolve issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances and other building systems.
• Address unsafe conditions and hazards promptly and safely.
• Monitor and report on the condition of building and security systems.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units and building systems.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and parts for timely work orders.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Document completed work and communicate recurring issues to supervisor.
