AMP Residential in Grand Rapids, MI hires a Maintenance Technician to keep Aspen Lakes Apartments & Wyndham Hill Apartments safe, attractive, and welcoming. You will work with service staff, residents, and vendors to address requests and perform preventive maintenance.

The role requires 1–2 years of facilities maintenance, strong customer service, and the ability to pass background checks; EPA certification is a plus and must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• EPA certification highly preferred; must obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance required.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends on-call.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for occupancy by making repairs.
• Complete work orders in occupied homes with fast, friendly service.
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain property grounds.
• Respond to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other service requests.
• Collaborate with team to achieve property goals and safety procedures.
