Job summary

Kane Realty Corporation in Greensboro, NC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join Revolution Mill's maintenance team and support day-to-day operations of the property. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting, make ready units for new residents, and handle HVAC maintenance, along with 24-hour emergency support and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC Certification (CFC) preferred.
• Experience in multi-family housing beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting duties.
• Repairing and treating structures (showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, exteriors).
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems.
• Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance (pre-scheduled).
• Occasional weekend work required.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Grounds maintenance and light landscaping.
• Pool maintenance.
• Coordinate special projects as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager.

Maintenance Technician

Seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join Kane Realty Corporation, a Raleigh based company with significant growth potential. The Maintenance Technician will be part of a team responsible for the overall maintenance and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance operations.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting
• Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
• Make ready units for new move-ins
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems
• Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance (pre-scheduled times)
• Must be available to work some weekends
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping
• Pool maintenance
• Coordinate special projects as directed maintenance supervisor or property manager

Job Requirements

The Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.

Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Must be able to have a strong attention to detail and handle multi-tasking throughout the day.

Education/Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
• HVAC Certification (CFC certification)
