Job summary

Lineage is seeking an experienced MHE Technician to maintain and repair material handling equipment in a cold storage environment. The role requires troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and includes work on ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems.

The technician will document work in the CMMS, follow safety rules, and support continuous operations in a fast-paced warehouse setting. OSHA or forklift/HVAC certifications are a plus for applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining material handling equipment (forklifts, turrets, pallet jacks, aerial lifts).
• Background in industrial refrigeration, ammonia systems, HVAC, or related trades is preferred.
• OSHA certification or forklift/HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work in cold storage environments and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on MHE such as forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues and implement solutions.
• Inspect and service industrial refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and valves.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on ammonia refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Document repairs, inspections, and parts usage in the CMMS accurately.
• Follow all safety policies and industry standards.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, aerial lifts, and other warehouse equipment. Candidates with experience in ammonia refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, HVAC, or related mechanical trades are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance activities on ammonia refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational reliability.
• Complete work orders and accurately document repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance activities, and parts usage in the CMMS system.
• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in building maintenance, forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, HVAC, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
• Building Maintenance: Experience supporting lighting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs is a plus.
• Refrigeration: Refrigeration and/or ammonia experience.
• Certifications: OSHA, forklift certification, HVAC certification, or related technical training is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, perform work at heights, and safely operate tools and equipment.
