Job summary

Lineage is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic/Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair essential warehouse equipment in a cold storage environment. You will troubleshoot, service, and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts while keeping accurate records and adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have electro-mechanical experience, with OSHA or forklift certification being a plus, and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• OSHA forklift certification or related training is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold storage environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, aerial lifts).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain service records and document repairs and parts usage.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting other facility equipment as needed.

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to help maintain and repair essential warehouse equipment, ensuring smooth operations in our fast-paced cold storage environment. Electro-mechanical experience is a huge plus!

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, aerial lifts, and more. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic systems, and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to cross-train in other maintenance areas to expand your skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on MHE such as forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate service records, documenting repairs and parts usage.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of other facility equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve efficiency and minimize operational disruptions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Certifications: OSHA, forklift certification, or related technical training is a plus.
• Problem‑Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, and operate tools/equipment safely.
