Maintenance Technician (MHE & Automated Systems)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and Automated Picking Systems in our Distribution Center. This role ensures equipment efficiency through preventative maintenance, system diagnostics, and repairs while maintaining inventory of spare parts and CMMS/EAM records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for MHE and automated systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and power supplies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD layouts.
• Maintain CMMS/EAM records for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee modifications and system upgrades for improved efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure system reliability.
• Support and mentor other technicians as needed.
• Work extended hours when required to meet operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Technical vocational training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MHE, electrical, or mechanical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, electrical systems (up to 600V), and network troubleshooting (e.g., PROFIBUS, BACNET).
• Experience with HVAC, chillers, boilers, and water treatment systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MHE software (RSLogix, Sort Director).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment.
