Madison Communities is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Melbourne, FL to maintain and improve our garden-style communities.

You will perform painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs, delivering a safe, move-in ready home for residents.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude; certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO) are a plus, and benefits include competitive perks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or property management.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service to residents and teammates
• Handling day-to-day maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Responding quickly and professionally to service requests
• Ensuring apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready
• Working with vendors on specialized projects like landscaping and asphalt repairs
• Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized

What You'll Be Doing

• Certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO) are a plus


• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
