Job summary

Madison Communities in Melbourne, FL is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to maintain garden-style apartment communities and ensure resident satisfaction. You'll handle daily repairs, preventive maintenance, and urgent service requests on-site.

You should know HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs; 1+ year in maintenance; HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications are a plus. The role emphasizes safe, move-in ready units and teamwork with vendors.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience in multifamily properties
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs
• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18+
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic; team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service to residents and teammates
• Handling day-to-day maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Responding quickly and professionally to service requests
• Ensuring apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready
