Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in maintenance or graduation from Industrial Maintenance Training program
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are critical
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50–70 lbs, and climbing may be required
• Ability to work in damp, cold or hot environments and follow safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets to keep production running
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule
• Prepare written documentation of actions taken and reports
• Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and manage safety procedures
• Willing to perform janitorial duties and assist other mechanics as needed
