Job Title

Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)

Job Details

Maintenance mechanical technician for chemical/petroleum industry. Installation, maintenance and repairs on facility operating equipment. Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience, in-house maintenance petroleum/chemical facility equipment, including pumps, valves, & boilers.

• Complete understanding of pressure regulators.

• Complete understanding in repair and maintenance of automatic gauges, conservation vents, and relief vents.

• Be able to operate and perform repairs on company's rolling equipment.

• Crane operating experience .

• Must have a valid Driver's License.

• Must have a valid TWIC or obtain it within 90-days

• Must have a minimum of high school diploma or GED.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Perform routine Preventative Maintenance and Inspections as assigned by supervision.

• Must be willing to complete on-the-job training and seek out new assignments to develop new skills and move up to the next technician level.

• Must be able to work with other departments and communicate effectively on all tasks assigned by Supervision.

• Must be available for overtime work and on-call duty rotations that include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be able to participate in emergency response activities; successful completion of pre-hire ERT physical required.

• Commit to safe work performance and leadership, promote a zero-tolerance safety attitude and actively participate in the safety observation program.

Work Environment:

• Outside - majority of work is performed outdoors. Performing strenuous physical tasks for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions.

• Inside - attend meetings, complete computer-based training, consult with vendors/suppliers, etc.
