John F. Martin is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for our new distribution center in Newmanstown, PA. You will keep material handling equipment and warehouse facilities safe and efficient, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical repair, specifically with material handling equipment (Crown, Raymond, Hyster, or Yale experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, 24V/36V/48V electrical systems, and diagnostic software.
• Versatility to pivot from equipment repair to facility-wide maintenance projects as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Repair: Diagnose, perform preventative maintenance, and repair electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts.
• Battery & Electrical Management: Manage battery watering, charger troubleshooting, and electrical component replacements.
• Facility Maintenance: Conduct dock plate maintenance, racking inspections, lighting, basic plumbing or carpentry tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure OSHA standards and document services to maintain fleet records.
• Parts Management: Monitor inventory for wear-and-tear parts to minimize downtime.
