Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes seeks a Maintenance Technician to enhance community integrity while delivering outstanding resident service. Responsibilities include make-ready apartments, completing service requests, and performing preventive maintenance across the property.

You will maintain inventory, participate in resident programs, and coordinate with residents, vendors, and leadership. A valid driver’s license, EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications, and basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• Certifications including EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 hourly. **Work Environment**: Work is performed throughout residential apartment communities, including occupiedunits, vacant apartments, exterior grounds, and maintenance areas. Position regularly involves exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, power tools, and moving mechanical equipment. **Physical Requirements:** Requires frequent physical activity including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Regularly lifts, carries, pushes, or pulls tools, appliances, equipment, and supplies up to 50 pounds.
