Job Summary

Performs a variety of maintenance duties in a hospital setting. This is a second shift position, Tuesday-Saturday, hours TBD.

Responsibilities

1. Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
2. Supervising and adjusting the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
3. Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures and bulbs, ceiling tiles, and responding to general building issues.
4. Using drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairs.
5. Coordinating work with vendors and contractors.
6. Performing preventative maintenance on emergency power systems, lighting, ice machines, refrigerators, HVAC, and other systems.
7. Conducting building and mechanical room inspections per maintenance program.

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
4. Driver's license and clean driving record required.
5. Experience with Building Automation Systems.
6. Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.
