Job summary

Magnas International Limited is seeking a Technician, Maintenance in Spring Hill, Tennessee, to support maintenance activities on electrical and mechanical systems within a manufacturing facility. The role requires troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical controllers, HVAC components and rotating equipment, with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance troubleshooting, at least an AS technical degree, and readiness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Two years maintenance troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing facility.
One year continuous work experience.
AS technical degree required; specialization in electronics, electrical power and controls, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs general electrical construction: installs conduit, electrical enclosures, electrical controllers, switches, etc.
Troubleshoots and repairs electronic hydraulic, pneumatic controllers and devices, and HVAC.
Analyzes equipment problems, determines root causes and recommends solutions.
Performs general mechanical work including welding, pipe fitting, equipment installation and fabrication work.
Balances rotating equipment and maintains system balance in paint booth air flow.
Completes required documentation and reports abnormalities to supervisor.
