Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Proficient in mechanical and electronic diagnostics and repair.
• Experience using OEM manuals, electrical and mechanical drawings.

Job description

Work as part of a maintenance team to provide mechanical and technical expertise throughout the production plant.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work safely by assessing and isolating hazards.
• Provide mechanical and technical support to maintain equipment, including repairing offset presses, punch equipment, packaging machines, and conveyance/storage systems.
• Facilitate repairs and modifications as needed.
• Maintain familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and production loss.
• Assist with equipment installation and facility modifications.
• Operate, organize, and maintain the workshop with tools, parts, and supplies for on-site maintenance and repair.
• Train production personnel in equipment setup and operation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic software system skills.
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment operation.
• Experience using OEM manuals, schematics, electrical and mechanical drawings, and test equipment such as analog and digital amp meters.
• Strong electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in mechanical and electronic diagnostics and repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or college degree a plus.

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
