Qualifications

• Experience with OEM manuals, schematics, and electrical drawings.

Job DescriptionJob Description

Work as part of a maintenance team to provide mechanical and technical expertise throughout the production plant.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work safely (assess and isolate hazards).
• Provide mechanical and technical support throughout the production plant to maintain equipment. Will also repair offset presses, punch equipment, packaging machines, and conveyance/storage systems.
• Facilitate repairs and modifications as necessary.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and lost production.
• Assist with equipment installation and facility modifications.
• Operate, organize, and maintain workshop with tools, parts and supplies for on-site maintenance and repair.
• Train production personnel in equipment setup and functionality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic software system skills.
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment operation.
• Experience using and understanding OEM manuals, schematics, electrical and mechanical drawings in association with using test equipment i.e., analog and digital amp meters, and a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Competent in mechanical and electronic diagnostics and repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or college degree a plus.

Three (3) to five (5) years of maintenance work experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
