Job summary

Maud Borup, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing team. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support reliable production in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• Experience with Preventative Maintenance.
• Install Drives and program. Troubleshoot PLC/Automation systems. Complete all assigned Work Orders in a timely manner.
• Repair sinks, hoses, waterlines, toilets, and plumbing equipment.
• Complete building repairs, maintain walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Skilled with mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment setup.
• Welding/Fabrication experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and make good decisions.
• Safety-conscious and reliable.
• Ability to lift, bend, twist, use ladders, and stand for shift duration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and facility areas.
• Complete mechanical and basic electrical repairs as needed.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery to remove and replace defective parts.
• Utilize tools such as wrenches, drills, hoists, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Work with contractors and technicians when outside repair support is required.
• Follow SQF Food Safety standards and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
• Assist cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring
