Job summary

Windward Communities is hiring a Maintenance technician to perform routine and preventative tasks at our NY community. You will maintain grounds, common areas, and facilities to ensure safety and a welcoming environment for residents.

The role requires outdoor work year-round, basic repair skills, and the ability to respond to on-call needs. A valid driver's license is required and on-site work hours are Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm with potential snow-plow shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of grounds and maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community appearance and curb appeal.
• Mow and maintain lawns; weed control; plant shrubs.
• Clean common areas and repair minor items in rental homes.
• Inspections of playgrounds, pools, and facilities for safe operation.
• Respond to on-call needs and seasonal weather tasks.
