Weinstein Properties in Cedar Park, TX, is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Make Ready to handle apartment turnover and routine maintenance at Bexley at Silverado. This is a full-time, on-site role with strong leadership and opportunity for growth.

Starting pay is $20/hour, $21/hour with EPA certification, plus on-call pay and a quarterly bonus up to $980. Benefits include PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and a rent discount.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification not required if training is acceptable.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Maintain property grounds on a daily basis.
• Help maintain the community appearance, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician – Make Ready Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

What We’re Looking For In Our Maintenance Technicians

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus!
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
