Vantive is a vital organ therapy company on a mission to extend lives and expand possibilities for patients and care teams. The Maintenance Technician (MT) will service automated production machinery to reduce downtime, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure equipment availability to meet production schedules.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work with machine shop and mold shop personnel and participate in projects and upgrades.

Formación

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Technical Associates degree (2 year) preferred.
• Preferred 3 years of applicable experience/demonstrated skill.
• Required 2 years as a Production Technician or Auxiliary.
• Must have experience with basic hand tools.
• Must be able to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams; hydraulics preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Works in a safe manner and is trained in all appropriate plant safety programs.
• Performs equipment relocations, crating or uncrating of parts, mechanical adjustments and alignments, identifying and ordering of spare parts, documenting all work, clean-up before leaving job, attending relevant training and meetings.
• Participates in projects and upgrades.
• Understanding of technical drawings and schematics
• Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues
• Machine shop personnel: Knowledge of machining techniques/processes including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding.
• Machine shop personnel: Knowledge of machining techniques/processes including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding, CNC machine setup, programming, and operation.
• Mold shop personnel: Knowledge of mold repair, teardown, assembly, and cleaning. Learning Mold Shop equipment and mold maintenance methods.
