Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician for Ashland City, TN. The role involves preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors and production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical systems and ensuring safe, efficient operation. Shifts are Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM and Saturdays 6:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 1 year of mechanical knowledge experience.
• Framing background preferred but not required.
• Strong technical understanding and zeal.
• Capable of operating power tools.
• Pays attention to detail.

• Capable of complying with safety PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines.
• Maintain forklifts; diagnose problems with observation, listening, and measuring tools.
• Remove defective parts; dismantle devices; use hoists and tools; monitor downtime and maintenance compliance.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
• Maintain inventories and order parts and supplies; verify receipts.
• Conserve resources by efficient tool use.
• Provide maintenance information by answering questions.
• Prepare maintenance reports and analyze trends.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment per rules.

The pay isbetween $18 - $30 per hour depending upon experience,andthe hours are Monday - Friday from 6AM - 4:30PM and Saturdays from 6AM-12PM.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines

• Forklift maintenance Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists and hand and power tools; Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance

• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment

• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt

• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year previous experience in Mechanical Knowledge
• Construction background in framing is preferred but not required
• Has technical understanding and zeal
• Capableofoperating power tools
• Pays attention to detail
• Able to be flexible
• Must be willing to work overtime each week
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
