Job summary

Premier Development is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our onsite community team. You will handle day-to-day repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and help keep our luxury property running smoothly and looking great.

In this role, youll complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, assist with turnovers, and communicate with residents in a friendly, professional manner. A valid driver's license and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in residential, apartment, or commercial maintenance.
• Hands-on plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, drywall repair, and general maintenance.
• EPA/HVAC certification is a strong plus.
• Valid drivers license and your own basic hand tools are required.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily resident service requests for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep buildings and common areas in good condition.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for new residents (turnovers).
• Provide friendly, professional updates to residents while completing work orders.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety protocols.

About the Role

Premier Development is looking for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our onsite community team. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, fixing things right the first time, and helping residents feel at home, this is a great fit for you.

In this role, you'll handle day-to-day repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and help keep our community running smoothly and looking great.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day:

• Work Orders: Complete daily resident service requests for general plumbing, basic electrical, light carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Preventative Maintenance: Inspect buildings, common areas, and mechanicals regularly to spot and fix minor issues before they become big problems.
• Turnovers: Assist in preparing vacant apartments for new residents (minor repairs, hardware replacement, safety checks).
• Resident Communication: Provide friendly, professional updates to residents while completing work orders in their homes.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain clean work areas, follow safety protocols, and ensure the community grounds are well-maintained.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ year of experience in residential, apartment, or commercial building maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, drywall repair, and general maintenance.
• Certifications: EPA / HVAC Certification is a strong plus
• Tools & Transport: Valid driver's license and your own basic hand tools required.
• Availability: Willingness to participate in a shared, rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies. NOT EVERY WEEKEND - Great work/life balance.
• Must have valid driver's license and own basic tools.
