Enterprise Mobility’s Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform car repairs, preventive maintenance, tire service, and fleet maintenance at multiple service centers across the area. The role offers a standard Mon-Fri schedule, with a base pay of $18.50 per hour plus night shift premiums.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Repair and replace tires; replace wearable parts; document repairs.
• Maintain repair history and inventory records; ensure safe, reliable vehicles on completion of services.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards; keep work area clean and orderly.

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Maintenance Technician located at multiple service centers located across Houston.

The Maintenance Technician performs car repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

Pay

• $18.50 / hr
• Night Shift Premiums:
• +$1 / hr starting at 2:00 PM
• +$2 / hr for hours 10:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Hourly pay – NOT flat rate

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines
• Repair and replace tires
• Replacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)
• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services
• May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backs
• Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards
• Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, no more than 2 at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years (1 of the 2 violations or at-fault accidents must fall off within 12 months of employment).
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Minimum of 6 months experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities
• Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug test once a conditional offer for employment has been made.
• Must be able to work one of the schedules listed.
