Westaff is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Lincoln, NH to repair and maintain building systems, machinery, and equipment. The role involves diagnosing issues, dismantling devices, and performing preventive maintenance on various mechanical systems with welding and plumbing tasks.

The position requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Night shift with differential pay applies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observe and locate causes of trouble by listening to operating equipment.
• Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts.
• Inspect parts for wear and dimensional changes.
• Check and adjust functional parts; lubricate and clean as needed.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Install special parts in devices; lubricate and clean components.
• Start devices to test performance and ensure proper operation.
• Use welding equipment, machine tools, and hand tools to repair machinery.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical carpentry, and preventive maintenance.
• Request materials and parts as needed; support plant electrician on minor electrical issues.
• Execute additional related duties as required.

Maintenance Technician - Lincoln, NH

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6pm-6am (36 hours) $4.50 shift differential pay!

Job Overview:

Repairs and maintains building systems, machinery, and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Repairs or replaced defective parts.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Uses welding equipment, machine tools and hand tools to repair machinery and equipment throughout the facility.
• Does general maintenance work such as routine plumbing, electrical carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Initiates Material order requests for parts and machines. Repairs minor electrical problems under the supervision of the plant electrician.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Physical requirements: Ability to push up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.
