Job summary

Motive Workforce in Olathe, Kansas, is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level II or III to troubleshoot and repair CNC and other industrial machinery used in aerospace manufacturing.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and contribute to continuous improvement while mentoring junior technicians. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machinery and industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Willingness to mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair CNC and industrial machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Use electrical meters and diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Plan and document work orders; manage multiple repairs.
• Mentor and train junior technicians (Level III focus).
• Work with CNC controls including Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma.

Shifts Available

• A-Nights: Sun–Tue and every other Wed, 6 AM–6:30 PM ($2 shift differential)
• B-Nights: Thurs–Sat and every other Wed, 6 PM–6:30 AM ($4 shift differential)

What You'll Do (Depending on Level)

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair CNC and industrial machinery
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Use electrical meters and diagnostic tools to identify machine issues
• Perform invasive machine repairs to minimize equipment downtime
• Navigate CNC controls and troubleshoot machine performance
• Support emergency and unscheduled machine repairs
• Perform machine metrology and kinematic corrections
• Manage the full cycle of multiple concurrent machine repairs, including diagnostics, part sourcing, machine repair, and repair success validation
• Plan and document work orders
• Work with CNC equipment utilizing Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls
• Ensure proper machine alignment, safety, and performance
• Mentor and train junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives at the Level III level
