Job summary

WGNSTAR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily tasks in a semiconductor cleanroom at our Hillsboro, OR location. This full-time role offers a compressed work week with day and night shifts and a competitive hourly pay of $19–$20, plus comprehensive benefits.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and the capacity to work independently or in a team while following precise instructions. Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks in a semiconductor cleanroom.

• Wear required cleanroom PPE as needed.
• Use basic hand, power, and customer tools and equipment.

Schedule: Compressed Work Weeks (Days & Nights)
Pay Rate: $19 -$20 Hourly Depending on shift placement
Onsite Location: Hillsboro, OR
Position Type: Full- Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance tasks in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance or troubleshooting on customer equipment.
• Adhere to customer facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety, quality, and effective team communication.
• You may wear required cleanroom, respirator or other Personal Protective Equipment.
• You may use basic hand, power and customer tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or within a team structure.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs routinely.

Preferences:

• 1-2 years semiconductor manufacturing or related experience

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
