Job summary

WGNSTAR is seeking a dependable full-time operator in Hillsboro, OR to perform daily semiconductor cleanroom maintenance and preventive diagnostics on customer equipment. You will follow strict procedures, use PPE, and work both independently and as part of a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 25 lbs routinely, and 1–2 years in semiconductor manufacturing preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Schedule: Compressed Work Weeks (Days & Nights)

Pay Rate: $19 -$21 Hourly Depending on shift placement

Onsite Location: Hillsboro, OR

Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance tasks in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance or troubleshooting on customer equipment.
• Adhere to customer facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety, quality, and effective team communication.
• You may wear required cleanroom, respirator or other Personal Protective Equipment.
• You may use basic hand, power and customer tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or within a team structure.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs routinely.

Preferences:

• 1-2 years semiconductor manufacturing or related experience

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
