Job summary

ams OSRAM seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support diversified mechanical, electrical, and controls systems in our Exeter, NH manufacturing site. You will diagnose, repair, and prevent electrical and mechanical faults while sustaining the PM program and LEAN/6S practices.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance, strong problem-solving, and the ability to read schematics and use SAP PM or similar CMMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, maintenance or similar role.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and controls systems.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of databases and IoT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Performs diversified mechanical, electromechanical or electronic duties in fabrication, testing, debugging and documenting standard assemblies.
• Maintains and troubleshoots industrial automated manufacturing equipment; performs preventive maintenance.
• Documents maintenance in SAP PM and records downtime data.
• Oversight of process equipment operations focusing on data collection, machine uptime, and yields to optimize OEE.
• Writes test procedures and interprets data on standard jobs; uses manuals and blueprints.
• Responds to breakdowns to minimize downtime; troubleshoots equipment, calibrates test equipment.
• Create standard operating procedures and job instructions for maintenance activities.
