Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time maintenance or mechanical experience under supervision.
• Completion of a two-year technical school program or NYS CSEA-P Applied Skilled Trades Certificate Program, or equivalent training.
• Valid New York State driver's license when required to operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, repetitive maintenance, installation and repair tasks.
• May supervise work crews or individuals under state custody/responsibility by giving assignments and instructions.
• May operate trucks and light construction equipment and perform snow or ice removal as needed.
