Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.

Responsibilities

• Assists in decisions on repairs and reports major problems to supervisor.
• Maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and facilities.
• Cleans, services, and diagnoses HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Supervises and leads a group of workers on projects.
