Qualifications

  • Experience with maintenance software setup and usage.
  • Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance for automated equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for downtime reduction.
  • Knowledge of spare part inventory management and vendor coordination.
  • General mechanical shop skills (lathes, mills, drills, presses, gear tools).
  • Ability to perform basic programming/troubleshooting on PLCs (Allen Bradley).
  • Experience managing electrical and mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the maintenance program for plant equipment to ensure reliability.
  • Develop and improve preventative maintenance strategies for automated equipment.
  • Manage maintenance software to track activities and performance.
  • Lead and train plant maintenance teams and coordinate external contractors.
  • Monitor machine efficiency to maximize uptime and productivity.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and vendor accounts for cost control.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Support electrical, automation, and hydraulic work as needed.
  • Communicate with plant staff and support audit readiness.

As a Maintenance Technician Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant operations by developing and implementing maintenance strategies, optimizing preventative maintenance, and leading technical training for plant technicians. Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the maintenance program for plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventative maintenance strategies for automated filling machines and processing equipment.
  • Utilize and manage maintenance management software to track maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Lead, train, and support plant maintenance teams, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinate and supervise work performed by external contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
  • Monitor and enhance Production Machine Mechanical Efficiency (MME) to maximize uptime and productivity.
  • Maintain organized spare part inventory and manage vendor accounts for cost-effective replenishment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support maintenance, electrical, automation, and hydraulic work teams as needed.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor programming on Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Apply general mechanical shop skills, including the use of lathes, end mills, drill presses, hydraulic presses, tap and die, and gear pullers.
  • Manage both electrical and mechanical projects and upgrades within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively with all plant personnel and assist the quality department in maintaining an "audit-ready" plant condition.
  • Adapt work schedules based on operational priorities and respond promptly to plant emergencies or changes.
Qualifications
  • Experience with maintenance management software, including setup and functionality.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance practices for automated equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience diagnosing equipment downtime and implementing preventive measures.
  • Knowledge of spare part inventory management and vendor account coordination.
  • General mechanical shop skills (lathes, end mills, drill presses, hydraulic presses, tap and die, gear pullers).
  • Ability to perform minor programming and troubleshooting on Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Experience managing both electrical and mechanical projects.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and support team members.
  • Availability to work off-shift hours and respond to plant emergencies as needed.
  • Experience with automated guided vehicles is a plus.
