The I-77 Express Lanes project is North Carolina's first P3 project, providing significant infrastructure improvements sooner than public funding alone could achieve. Led by Cintra, the project spans 26 miles from I-277 in Charlotte to NC-150 in Iredell County, including constructing new express lanes, converting HOV lanes to Express Lanes, repaving general-purpose lanes, and implementing a dynamic toll pricing system. Once completed, it will reduce congestion and improve mobility by increasing road capacity.
As the Lead Maintenance Technician, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor in all aspects of maintenance operations, ensuring highway safety. You will operate automotive and maintenance equipment, transport materials and personnel, perform skilled highway maintenance duties, and participate in building maintenance. You will work with maintenance personnel, receive assignments from supervisors, supervise personnel on various tasks, and train less experienced staff on equipment operation and roadway maintenance.
