Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines.
- Communicate with the team to promote understanding of the relationship between site actions, results, and overall objectives.
- Drive daily execution of team responsibilities using leadership competencies aligned with ATS culture.
- Display behaviors that reflect self-motivation and emotional intelligence.
- Document work in service reports and management systems; compile technical manuals and maintenance processes related to equipment upgrades and automation.
- Update records, review CMMS history, and analyze data.
- Perform expert-level maintenance including troubleshooting, repair, testing, and reconditioning of equipment.
- Identify and source parts and supplies; evaluate alternatives for cost and reliability improvements.
- Perform maintenance according to industry standards; create maintenance standards and instructions.
- Set up and operate machining tools and perform welding tasks as needed.
- Comply with customer codes of conduct, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
- Utilize advanced maintenance technologies to monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Conduct on-the-job training and support team development.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:
Essential KSAs:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Associate degree with technical focus plus 12 years of related experience or 15 years of experience in the industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, specialized tools, and programming software.
- Some travel may be required.
Desirable KSAs:
- Experience with condition-based maintenance, mechanical alignments, automation, and process equipment.
- Experience with PLCs, troubleshooting field devices, electrical drives, motors, and motion control devices.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Includes standing, walking, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, lifting over 50 pounds, and working in noisy, factory environments with potential hazards.
