Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Laurel Park site in St. Louis, MO.

The role focuses on completing resident work orders, performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained community for residents. This temporary position requires hands-on multifamily maintenance experience, the ability to work independently, and participation in an after-hours/on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on multifamily maintenance experience required.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and general building maintenance.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns according to company standards and deadlines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections of apartments, buildings, common areas, and property equipment.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and make repairs or recommendations.
• Assist with maintaining property grounds, common areas, mechanical rooms, and maintenance shop.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls as part of on-call rotation.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, Community Management, and team members.
• Assist with property inspections and address identified maintenance deficiencies.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, parts, and maintenance supplies.

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a dependable, skilled, and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Laurel Park in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on multifamily maintenance experience and take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well‑functioning community for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple work orders and changing priorities.

• Professional communication and customer‑service skills.

• Must be dependable and able to participate in an after‑hours/on‑call rotation.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with apartment maintenance, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working indoors and outdoors.
