Job summary

EMBREY in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to keep buildings safe, functional and well-maintained across our properties.

The role requires solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and general repairs, with strong troubleshooting and time-management skills. This is a full-time, on-site position offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license if travel between sites is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Assist with building renovations, installations or furniture assembly.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary.
  • Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
