Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in South Austin to oversee maintenance operations for multifamily communities, focusing on program execution and cost control.

You will lead a team, manage budgets, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate vendor contracts to ensure property standards and resident satisfaction across a growing portfolio.

The role requires HVAC and pool certifications, a valid driver's license, and a track record of reducing downtime and improving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Property Maintenance
• Three years’ experience as a Manager/Supervisor
• HVAC certified
• Pool certification
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance within the maintenance team.
• Improve processes and find efficiencies in workflow.
• Troubleshoot and implement cost-saving techniques and recommend improvements.
• Lead in the management, training and retention of quality employees.
• Consistently review pending work orders and allocate the mappropriately.
• Maintain monthly and yearly budget overages.
• Facilitate property maintenance issues, including scheduling regular maintenance and repair, negotiating contracts with vendors and conducting property inspections.
• Review turns and make-readys schedule and delegate work to proper workgroups.
