Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical Journeyman or Technical/Vocation Certificate preferred.
• Welding certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times.
• Install or relocate new machinery or equipment.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance including inspections and safety checks.
• Follow safety rules including lockout/tagout and guarding while maintenance.
• Assess machines to ensure guarding and safeguards exist.
• Maintain facility plumbing, electrical and structural repairs.
• Complete maintenance on a timely basis and order parts within authority.
• Design, fabricate and construct devices and fixtures.
• Maintain neat and orderly work area.
• Monitor job functions to align with safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
