Job summary

Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to support a fast-paced packaging facility. The role emphasizes diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to restore and sustain production.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with motors, conveyors, and printing equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Leadership experience and a valid electrical license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years hands-on experience maintaining industrial/manufacturing machinery.
• Two years of supervisory or team-leadership experience in a technical/maintenance capacity.
• Certified forklift operator with safe use of material-handling equipment.
• Proficient welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks.
• Valid electrical license required.

Responsibilities

• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Enforce lockout/tagout practices during maintenance and operations.
• Train and mentor associates through coaching and technical guidance.
• Oversee and assign daily maintenance activities including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections and calibrations.
• Dismantle and reassemble complex machinery including motors, conveyors, presses, and printing equipment.
• Continuously build knowledge of machine functions and support systems that impact production.
• Procure necessary parts within authority, balancing quality and cost.
