Job summary

Rockline Industries, a leading manufacturer of coffee filter products in Northern New Jersey, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment and facilities in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot machinery, install and repair production equipment, and support safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and familiarity with GMP/OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years' maintenance experience or technical trade school graduate.
• Strong knowledge of utilities equipment and use of power tools.
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Basic electronic troubleshooting and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Work Order program for equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and OSHA regulations.
• Must be available to work overtime.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide a safe working environment.

• Ensure proper use of PPE.
• Provide timely maintenance support across all departments.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and process deficiencies.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair production equipment (press, baggers, sealers, conveyors, printers).
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing support equipment (air compressors, boilers, fans, pumps).
• Maintain accurate records and manage parts inventory.
