Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance duties across our communities and ensure market-ready vacancies. The role supports the maintenance staff, handling repairs and routine improvements with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The position entails a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend on-call duties to address emergencies and property needs. A valid driver's license is required, and EPA certification is preferred for specialized tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• EPA certifiable status preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing all vacancies to a market-ready condition.
• Performs various maintenance tasks including light bulb changes, caulking, filter changes, touch-up painting and basic repairs.
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
• Assists in preventive maintenance of building components and grounds.
• Maintains maintenance logs and monitors inventory and supplies.
• Drives company vehicle as needed for on-site tasks and emergencies.
