Job summary

QXO is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Florida operations in Winter Haven. You’ll perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure reliable and safe operations.

Responsibilities include following preventive maintenance schedules, interpreting manuals and drawings, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Candidates should have hands-on experience in maintenance or manufacturing and be able to

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and systems.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials as required (least 50 lbs)
• Exposure to equipment, machinery, and varying environmental conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement effective solutions.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and technical documents to support maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as needed
