Job summary

George’s is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to assist the maintenance department with repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and facilities.

Key duties include assisting maintenance technicians, dismantling equipment with hand and power tools, and completing daily work orders and checklists; lock out/tag out certification is required. High school diploma or equivalent expected; basic tools and knowledge of common tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic tools and operational knowledge of hand, power, and industrial tools.
• Lock out / tag out certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance techs with installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Dismantle machinery to inspect parts for defects and perform repairs or replacements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork and checklists.
• Follow safety procedures and lock out / tag out protocols.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by supervisor or manager.
