Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
Performs maintenance functions by installing and maintaining production machines and facility equipment. Follow general safety and compliance with all workplace rules, policies and procedures, i.e. SQF, safety, etc.
Responsibilities include responding with urgency to emergency calls/work orders, planning and executing assigned work orders; inspecting, identifying, and repairing complex mechanical/electrical equipment; repairing and maintaining piping systems and assembling hoses with fittings; basic fabrication and welding and ability to follow prints; performing mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines; reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders; diagnosing problems and replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments; using a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment; troubleshooting and repairing other electrical equipment that maintains production, safety, quality, output, and reduces downtime on production lines in accordance with codes, regulations, and specifications. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
The ideal candidate must have advanced mechanical and technical skills and be able to work effectively with all areas of the plant and have a thorough understanding of our entire manufacturing process.
