Job summary

Foshee Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician IV to support one of our Huntsville, AL communities. This role involves hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, with on-call duties outside standard hours.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in residential maintenance, EPA HVAC certification, and strong problem-solving skills. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience, multifamily preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems installation and repairs.
• EPA HVAC certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Electrical and plumbing troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable responding to after-hours service calls.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• HVAC systems installation and repairs: compressors, condensers and air handlers.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances and building systems.
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow OSHA and safety regulations.
• Provide strong customer service when interacting with community members.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and additional tasks as needed.
• Train for advancement to a Maintenance V (Supervisor) position.
