Packaging Corporation of America in Lithonia, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician specializing in industrial electrical and mechanical systems to diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace components on plant equipment. Initially on the first shift with 10–12 hour shifts, opportunities to change shifts arise as the plant grows. A technical degree and US work authorization are required.
Pay Range = $25.83 - $42.58 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.

PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through the skill levels and achieve higher pay.
Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.

This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Lithonia, GA
This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.
All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.
2+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
2+ Years' experience of electromechanical experience.
A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades.
Initially on first shift, working 10-12 hour shifts. As the plant grows, Maintenance Technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority. Opportunities to change shifts are available when organization changes occur or production schedules change.
Be Authorized to work in the US.
Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
