Job summary

HMTX Industries, headquartered in Norwalk, invites you to join our maintenance team in Calhoun, GA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and repair production and facility systems to minimize downtime.

This role requires forklift certification and experience with automation, conveyors, and building systems. You will document activities, coordinate with safety, and work with vendors to keep operations safe and productive.

Qualifications

Proven maintenance technician experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
Experience with preventive maintenance on material handling and production equipment.
Forklift certification required; familiarity with boom lifts or scissor lifts preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling and production equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Inspect facilities for maintenance needs, safety concerns, and code violations.
Maintain records and inventory for maintenance activities.
Coordinate with Safety and vendors for OSHA compliance and repairs.
Respond to emergencies and support installation or modification of new equipment.
Keep shop organized and ensure safe, efficient operations.
