WonderWorks Orlando is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our upside-down wonderland in top shape. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain attractions, build new exhibits, and perform routine upkeep to ensure a safe, fun experience for guests.

Ideal candidates bring construction, maintenance, and computer-troubleshooting experience, and are able to work various shifts including nights and weekends. Weekly pay at $24/hour and benefits begin after specified times.

Formación

• 1-3 years' experience in the construction field.
• 1 year experience working with and troubleshooting computers.
• 3 years’ experience in the maintenance field.
• Experience in troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical equipment and facility maintenance.
• Be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions.
• Observational skills to ensure safe practices and maintenance of equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, use hands and/or fingers, and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work on tasks at varying heights.

Responsabilidades

• Constructs, assembles, installs and/or modifies backgrounds, showcases, partitions, walls, exhibits, graphics, etc. as directed.
• Performs routine maintenance on exhibits according to daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checklists.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair computer-based exhibits
• Certifies new and existing team members to safely operate all major exhibits
• Perform diagnostics on sensors, actuators, and communication networks to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and implement long-term corrective actions as needed in all areas of facilities and exhibits
• Complete general maintenance tasks including but not limited to painting, carpeting, changing lightbulbs, plumbing, cleaning, and pressure washing

Job Responsibilities Include:

Qualifications:

• Experience in troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical equipment and facility maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction preferred
• Previous experience working on ride-control systems preferred
• Previous themed entertainment experience is preferred

Hourly Rate: $24.00/hr
